Starting and Stopping the Network Scanner
The network scanner is the part of the program that "Pings" each device on your network to determine if it is accessible or not. You can start or stop it from the toolbar on the main window, or from the popup menu on the tray icon.
Using the Toolbar
The network scanner button appears as either a play button (
) or a pause button (
) depending on the state of the scanner.
Main Window Toolbar
Click Play to start the scanner, or click Pause to stop the scanner
Using the Tray Icon
If the main window isn't visible, you can also start and stop the scanner from the tray icon popup menu.
Tray Icon Popup Menu
Select the Start Scanner or Stop Scanner menu items.
