Deploying Network Monitor on a Network
Network administrators can configure the program to restrict access to certain settings, such as the size and frequency of ECHO packets sent across the network. Starting the program with the 'ADMIN' switch adds the permissions tab to the options dialog box.

Options available on this form
Allow user to modify ECHO settings When unchecked, the ECHO Settings tab will not be available to the client. Accidental modification to the ECHO settings could adversely affect network performance.
Allow user to modify the device list When unchecked, the 'Devices' tab will not be available to the client. Prevent technical support incidents from users who inadvertently deleted the company server from the list.
Allow user to change log file size When unchecked, the 'Log Settings' tab will not be available to the client. Inappropriate log file settings could waste system resources.
Allow user to clear the log files The 'Clear' button will be disabled on the log view screen. Make sure you can access the log file when you need it.
